Simple, Intelligent and Passive
Conventional emergency call systems are useful as long as they can be operated correctly and actively. However, this is not always the case if the person who has had an accident is confused, has dementia or is even unconscious. Many falls occur at night on the way to the toilet - but often these (home emergency call) buttons are on the bedside table, i.e. out of reach, so that help often cannot be called A single device in the home - all well and good - but what good is it if nobody can operate it in an emergency?
Smart - unattended, simple and intelligent
An intelligent emergency call system, on the other hand, can also trigger an alarm in these cases. Thanks to the integrated hands-free system, the person who has fallen can be contacted and heard directly - so they can be sure that help will come. It is time for a smart home - smart for the elderly - so that no devices have to be carried around permanently - four years after the last Mars landing. An operating concept?
Passive instead of radar radiation
Our Sensor does not include a camera, of course, but simply detects the heat emitted by the human body via a highly sensitive infrared sensor system, completely contactless and 100% passive. Radar-based systems permanently emit electromagnetic radiation in the GHz range - every day and every night, without interruption
Data protection, no cameras in homes and the right to privacy
The protection of privacy, the inviolability of the home and postal and telecommunications secrecy are legally binding and naturally apply to everyone. Camera-based systems are considered unacceptable by many people - after all, the devices are also used in bedrooms and bathrooms. G-Guard works independently 24/7 and does not constantly send movement data to the Internet - it is therefore intelligent enough to make all decisions offline and by itself - personal data never leaves the device.
A variety of sensors and actuators for hazard detection and prevention
In addition to immediate fall detection, our Sensor also detects many other hazards - for example, inactivity: if there is no (human) movement within adjustable, weekday-dependent time windows or if the room climate is unhealthy for a long period of time (too cold, too hot or unhealthy humidity), this is also reported
A small orientation light (“slipper light”) illuminates the floor, ensuring safety in the dark at night and helping to prevent falls.
Free alerting options without annoying contractual obligations & integration into other systems
All alarm routes and destinations such as email addresses, telephone numbers for text messages or voice calls, e.g. to relatives, neighbors or care services, can be set as desired. G-Guard can not only be operated as a stand-alone system, but can also be connected to external systems (e.g. nurse call system in accordance with VDE 0834). nurse call system according to VDE 0834, email, SMS, voice calls via mobile radio (LTE), WLAN (VoIP), MQTT, LwM2M/CoAP, ....).
